Over the past decade, autotune has made its way into music from different parts of the word. It was first made famous through American artist T-Pain, who is known to have built a million-dollar career through his autotuned music. Without this vocal-disguising system, we can say without a doubt that T-Pain is not a great singer. For this reason, autotune is often looked down upon because it allows less talented people to “cheat” their way to fame and riches. In addition, it also deprives music of its organic and earthy qualities and makes it sound robotic and “fake.” However, when the right amount of autotune is used, it can actually add onto the overall quality of the song and make it sound catchy, as exemplified by the 10 songs below.

All the songs listed above are perfect examples of songs that uses the right amount of autotune. It’s not overly done, and fits the song well. What other songs do you think uses autotune well?

Hmm, i might be wrong but...wasn’t 4minute’s ‘Musik’ also in the 10 Ridiculously Autotuned Kpop songs? O_O I ask this as I just read the list before, and I see it here again.

Yup i agree with BEAST’s shock,it was an awesome tune. I do think BB tonight should be there,i prefer it to stupid liar raspberry

Have you heard “keep going” by tpain,him singing with his original voice. Or better still when he does the intros to his live performances. He is a born singer,autotune is only his “trademark”. Sorry for ranting,i know its your opinion of course,but tpain is a great singer. smile
