This year’s lineup for the “Incheon Korean Music Wave 2011” concert will feature some of the top KPOP artists. The concert will be taking place in Incheon, Korea on August 13th at 6:00pm local time, though the ticket and venue information has not been revealed. Although the concert will be held in Korea, the event was created to attract Japanese fans so they will travel to Korea to see their favorite stars perform. Last year’s concert was sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and was broadcast on a special episode of Music Core.
This year’s lineup includes SNSD, Wonder Girls, KARA, 4minute, Super Junior, BEAST, SHINee, 2AM, 2PM, GD&TOP, SG Wannabe, MBLAQ, and CNBlue. Many of these artists have built fandoms all over Asia and some have already debuted in Japan with much success.
