Today’s celeb crush is Jay Chou.This talented guy is a Taiwanese musician, singer-songwriter, music and film producer, actor and director who has won the World Music Award not only once, but four times! Jay composes all his songs, plus some for other singers too.

Back in 1998, he was discovered via a talent contest. There Jay showcased his piano and song-writing skills for all to see and hear. During the two years after that, he was hired to compose songs for popular Mandarin singers. Originally, he had been trained in classical music, but he has been combining Chinese and Western music styles to produce songs with elements of R&B, rock and pop genres! Domestic violence, war, and urbanization are some issues that he covers. In 2000, Jay released his first album, “Jay”, under Alfa Music. Following that, he has released one album every year except in 2009, selling several million copies for each.
