Wow oh wow. 2NE1 is just rocking everything lately, aren’t they? They are back with their latest song and MV, “Ugly”! Not only that but the girls have also received another all-kill on the charts! That’s just simply amazing. And what about the MV? Let’s take a look at that, shall we?

Here’s the MV if you haven’t watched it yet:

Am I dreaming? A second song without autotune? An amazing MV that just continuously shows off different sides to these four fierce ladies? I think I’m in KPOP heaven right now! The MV shows off a more punkish side to the group than we have seen in previous MVs. Punk and sass together. The MV starts off with them with masks on, as if to protect them from the air around them and environment. Then they jump to a “stage”, take their masks off and start jumping up and down as if they were rocking a music stage. Taking a page out of CNBLUE’s “Intuition”, they use graffiti bottles to spray cars and fellow “ugly” girls, then they use glow-in-the-dark paint and splash it everywhere. The MV culminates in them holding an impromptu concert outside.

Ladies, you are not “ugly”! I love you for who you are and they look great in the MV! I love how each and every time we got to see a different side from them. The MV is a fun one to watch and sometimes, you get the urge to join them on stage! My only beef with the MV is that I felt I was getting a seizure from the continuous scenic changes. Just different scenes flashing one after another. But overall, this MV definitely shows off girl power and its very refreshing!
