Leeteuk
Stage Name: 이특 (Leeteuk)
Real Name: 박정수 (Park Jungsu)
Nicknames: Angel Without Wings, Teuki Teuki Leeteuki, AngelTeuk, Lida Park, Belle
Leeteuk basically calls himself an angel, which is an example of why there are so many nicknames associated with angels for him. Fellow member Heechul actually gave Leeteuk the nickname Belle from Beauty and the Beast from their pre-debut days. I’m pretty stumped on Lida Park, but I’m guessing it’s the Engrish way of pronouncing Leader Park since Leeteuk is the leader himself. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.


Heechul
Stage Name: 희철 (Heechul)
Real Name: 김희철 (Kim Heechul)
Nicknames: Heenim, Cinderella, Sachawon, Kim Cherry
Heechul’s so pretty that fans often call him Cinderella. In return, he calls his fans petals.


Yesung
Stage Name: 예성 (Yesung)
Real Name: 김종운 (Kim Jongwoon)
Nicknames:Cloud, Artistic Vocal Cords, Singing Yesung, Cheonan Uljjang, Aladdin
If you’ve caught on by now, all these Disney nicknames are courtesy of Kim Heechul himself. A lot of Yesung’s nicknames associate with how great of a singer he is and how amazing his vocals are.


Kangin
Stage Name: 강인 (Kangin)
Real Name: 김영운 (Kim Youngwoon)
Nicknames: Bear Kangin, Strength Kangin, Raccoon, Korea No.1 Handsome Guy, The Real Leader, Beast
Due to the fact that Kangin’s stage name itself means “strong man,” a lot of Kangin’s nicknames associate with his strength, as shown to variety shows. Raccoon and Korea No. 1 Handsome Guy are from Super Junior Full House. (I highly suggest you watch this epic show.) Beast is from Beauty and the Beast (I’ll let you figure out who gave him this nickname.)

Shindong
Stage Name: 신동 (Shindong)
Real Name: 신동희 (Shin Donghee)
Nicknames: Dolpan Ogyupsal, Winnie the Pooh
Dolphan Ogyupsal is a type of food seeing how Shindong likes to eat.


Sungmin
Stage Name: 이성민 (Lee Sungmin)
Real Name: 이성민 (Lee Sungmin)
Nicknames: Alice, Pink Prince, Sweet Pumpkin
Alice is as in Alice in Wonderland. Sungmin is named the pink prince because he likes pink too much. Almost everything in his room is pink! He has even dyed his hair pink before (as seen above.)

Eunhyuk
Stage Name: 은혁(Eunhyuk)
Real Name: 이혁재 (Lee Hyukjae)
Nicknames: Monkey, Gem Adonis, Little Mermaid, Cockroach, Hallyu Star, Hyojjae, Hyukgoo, Anchovy, Peter Pan, The Old-fashioned Anchovy With Smelly Feet
If I remember correctly, Eunhyuk once said that if his stage name wasn’t Eunhyuk, it’d be Anchovy. Since Eunhyuk is known for having smelly feet, you can guess how Super Junior started calling him The Old-fashioned Anchovy with smelly feet.


Donghae
Stage Name: 동해(Donghae)
Real Name: 이동해(Lee Donghae)
Nicknames: Fishy, Sushi, Hweh, Ryeowook’s #1 Fan, Bada’s Dad, East Sea, Mokpo Uljjang, Pinnochio
Since Donghae’s name literally means East Sea, he refers to himself as the sea and basically associates everything with the sea with himself.

Siwon
Stage Name: 시원(Siwon)
Real Name: 최시원(Choi Siwon)
Nicknames: Simba, The Lord’s #1 Fan, bodyguard, gentleman, horse
If you haven’t watched The Lion King before, that’s where Simba is from. Since Super Junior said that Siwon looks like a horse, that nickname stuck with him until now. Also, it is known that Siwon is very dedicated to his religion which is why fans jokingly nicknamed him the lord’s #1 fan as he has never missed church on Sundays.


Ryeowook
Stage Name: 려욱(Ryeowook)
Real Name: 김려욱(Kim Ryeowook)
Nicknames: Ryeonggoo, Eternal Maknae(youngest), Rank #1, Ryeowook On Top, Ex-Maknae, Jasmine
Since Ryeowook looks the youngest in Super Junior, he is called the eternal maknae.

Kibum
Stage Name: 기범 (Kibum)
Real Name: 김기범 (Kim Kibum)
Nicknames: Snow White, The Natural One
I’m not really sure why Kibum is called the natural one but maybe it’s another way of saying his uljjang looks are very handsome and natural looking?


Kyuhyun
Stage Name: 규현 (Kyuhyun)
Real Name:조규현 (Cho Kyuhyun)
Nicknames: Choding, Maknae On Top, Micky’s #1 Fan, Lord Kyu ,Sulky Kyu, Porn Kyu, Fit-In Kyu, Chic Kyu, Alien, Jesus Kyu, Dorm Kyu, Sexy Kyu, Baby Kyu, Shy Kyu, ELF Kyu, Green Kyu, Terror Kyu, Rotten Smile Kyu, Guinness Kyu, Voice Kyu, Dark Kyu, Model Kyu, Miracle Kyu, Doll Kyu, S Line Kyu, Basic Instinct Kyu, Game Kyu, Kyurying Fan, Drama Kyu, Evil Maknae (he has apparently over 900 nicknames)

Oh boy, Kyuhyun’s nicknames! I think you can pair basically any word in front of his name and you’ll have another one of apparent 900 nicknames. S Line Kyu made me burst out laughing to be honest with you.




Super Junior M

Zhou Mi
Stage Name: 周覓 (Zhou Mi)
Real Name: 周覓 (Zhou Mi)
Nicknames: Siwon, Gentleman Mimi
Apparently Zhou Mi looks like Siwon, although I thought he looked more like Hangeng when I first saw him. Gentleman Mimi is a play of Lady Gaga if you can somehow see the similarities.


Henry
Stage Name: Henry
Real Name: Henry Lau (劉憲華)
Nicknames: Mochi
Due to the fact that Henry has chubby cheeks like the Japanese ricecakes, his nickname has turned into Mochi!
