BEAST debuted in the KPOP industry with their hit song, “Bad Girl“. They later made a Japanese version of the track and it was a part of their Japanese debut album, “So Beast“. Now, it’s undergoing some controversy as a Japanese band has allegedly plagiarized the song.

The band goes by the name U.I.C. (Ugly in Clarity) and have taking in hateful comments from netizens after their song, “NAKED SUN” sounded very familiar to “Bad Girl”. “NAKED SUN” is the first track on the band’s first album, “ADDICTRO” and it was released 8 months after the original.

Right when the track starts, you can tell that it sounds like “Bad Girl”. Cube Entertainment has already been notified about this through enraged B2UTYs and said, “We heard of the suspected plagiarism from fans. We didn’t have the opportunity to thoroughly evaluate the song yet, however, we will be making a thorough review to see if there’s possible plagiarism.”
