The Brave Girls are back with a new song and MV, which they hope will catch your attention and shower them with love and support. A mighty task indeed, especially with Super Junior’s highly anticipated comeback around the corner. But did they catch your attention with their song and MV? Let’s check it out, shall we?

Here’s the MV in case you missed it earlier:

This song is inspired by Kim Gun Mo and her reggae song “Excuse”. Truth be told, we haven’t seen many KPOP idol MVs such as this one. Its unique sound and fun, summery concept will definitely have you dancing to this tune in no time. And with its light feel, the dance moves that the girls pull off are pretty simple, which adds to the easygoing and light feel.

The MV also combines the talents of reggae artist Skull, who uses his talents to open the song. I must say, listening to him open was pretty interesting. His husky voice contrasts greatly with this mellow, yet fun song. Ad I see that they used glow-in-the dark clothes and paints, which reminded me of 2NE1’s “Ugly”. And at the end of the MV, we’re treated to about 30 seconds of BTS filming and shots, which show off how much fun the girls had filming for the MV.

The MV is good, but for some reason, I find Skull’s appearance a bit amusing. I’m not sure exactly why. Perhaps his voice didn’t match up to his appearance. However, I did like the group using a concept that they had never done before.

Final Score: 4.7/5
