He’s nicknamed the Pink Prince by fans alike because of his love for the colour pink, but how much do you really know about Lee Sungmin of Super Junior? Here’s a brief profile on him!

Name: Lee Sungmin
Birthdate: January 1, 1986
Hometown: Ilsan, Goyang, Gyeonggi, South Korea
Role in Super Junior:Main Vocalist
Facts:
-Sungmin first joined SM Entertainment when he along with fellow Super Junior member Donghae won first place for the Best Outward Appearance award at the 2001 SM Youth Best Contest.
-His family is the second richest following Choi Siwon in Super Junior due to the fact that his family owns the company Send Bill.
-In 2002, he was placed in a project group with fellow Super Junior member Eunhyuk, Xiah Junsu, TRAX’s Typhoon, Rose and Attack. They made their first television appearance on Heejun vs. Kangta, Battle of the Century: Pop vs. Rock where the H.O.T. members taught them how to sing rock and other singing techniques.
-Sungmin played young Kang Dong-shin in the MBC drama Sisters of the Sea.
-Sungmin plays Micky Yoochun’s best friend in SBS’s Bajun Drama Finding Lost Time.
-His first big-scale film was Attack of the Pin-Up Boys in which he along with the other members of Super Junior acted out.
-He was a radio host for Recklass Radio, replacing fellow member Kangin in 2007. Along with Sooyoung from SNSD and later Sunny from SNSD, they hosted the program until it ended in 2008.
-He is apart of the subgroups Super Junior-T, Super Junior-Happy and recently participated in Super Junior-M’s latest album.
-He was one of the twenty idols that participated in singing Let’s Go for the 2010 G-20 Seoul summit.
-He owns a scooter of which he calls Byul and goes riding with fellow member Shindong, who also shares his love for photography.
-Sungmin loves photography, therefore he was a photographer in Super Junior and SNSD’s promotional for Seoul Tourism: Seoul Song.
-Sungmin has recently been cast in a few muscials, his most recent one is being casted as Daniel for Jack the Ripper.

Seeing how Sungmin has experienced a bit of everything in the entertainment industry, I think he should try expanding his acting career since he hasn’t really touched on that aspect since a couple of years ago. I think he should try modeling also for different brands also since I’ve barely seen him endorse products unless they are with the rest of Super Junior.
