Blackjacks are in for a treat! 2NE1 has announced that they will be doing the planning for their Inkigayo stage this week, which should prove to be interesting.

After all, it’s normally the choreographers who plan the stages with each member giving feedback on what to do. However, representatives commented, “This time for ‘Ugly‘, the members planned out every detail of their performance themselves. ‘Ugly’ is a song that doesn’t need a special choreography; rather, it requires something that allows the music to flow naturally, so it’s harder to plan for than the average song. For several days in a row, the members stayed up to brainstorm ways to better deliver their music to the viewers.”

Because the girls have never attempted this before, their CEO Yang Hyun Suk stayed up with them to give them advice on how to plan their stage.
