Japanese Henecias are probably leaping with joy after reading this bit of news. Kim Hyun Joong recently held his Japanese showcase at the JEPP Tokyo on July 29th and many attended his showcase. At least 1800 fans and reporters from 200 media outlets attended this showcase, proving just how much love the 4D leader of SS501 has from his fans.

This marked the first time that Kim Hyun Joong has performed in front of fans by himself. On previous trips to Japan, he was always with his group SS501. He performed 7 songs for fans and apologized for not being able to sing more, stating, “I want to sing more but I don’t have any more songs to sing.” That remark left the audience laughing because of his witty ways.

He also revealed his plans for a Japan tour, saying that this was his way of thanking each fan for their immense support for his first solo album. It was also reported that this fall, we’ll see his second solo album.

A second solo album!? Excited! And lucky Japanese fans. I wonder if he’ll still have time for the purported SS501 comeback album.
