The All India Institute of Medical Sciences can deal with any medical emergency thrown at them. One thing that they can’t handle? A monkey invasion! Being the intelligent animals they are, a group of Rhesus Macaque monkeys have figured out how to use the automatic doors and let themselves into rooms and wards.

These monkeys have lived on the hospital campus for quite some time and wandered freely. No accident has occurred, until now that is. The group of primates learned how to operate the automatic motion sensors and let themselves into the building. Once inside the hospital, they’ve caused an uproar by snatching food, playing with medical equipment, and some have even bitten patients.

It’s estimated that there are about 20 or 30 monkeys in total and how does the hospital staff plan to deal with them? It may be the most absurd idea ever, but they have brought in two grey langurs (bigger monkeys) to chase off the Rhesus monkeys.
