According to 2PM’s Taecyeon on a recent broadcast of Strong Heart, the group wanted a female celebrity to sing a line in their hit song, “Hands Up”. They first agreed on figure skater Kim Yuna, but unfortunately, her schedules and activities prevented her from being in the song.

The group then turned to f(x)’s Krystal, who was interested in the song and was set to participate in the recording as Junho was fascinated by her strong performance in “Danger”. However, even though they received her consent and Junho was ecstatic by the news, Krystal was unable to participate because her age prevented her from doing so. The lyrics dealt with clubbing and drinking and Krystal, at 17 years old, is not of legal age.

Krystal was disappointed that she couldn’t participate in the recording as she found that the melody was nice. To make up for it, Taecyeon told her to sing it on the spot.

A 2PM-Krystal collaboration would be interesting, wouldn’t it?
