2NE1 recently ended their promotions for “I Am the Best” to promote their new track, “Ugly“. Their last performance was on Music Core on July 30th and the stage outfits, particularly Dara’s, have been gaining attention.

2NE1 is definitely a fashionista group, as their style is drastically different from other groups. Dara was seen wearing a blank tank top paired with a very interesting skirt. The top half of the skirt was made of shiny silver material while the bottom was made of a fuzzy bright, magenta pink. Dara’s famous “Palm Tree Hair” also returned, a look that fans talked about since 2NE1’s “Fire” days.

Whether you love or hate 2NE1’s style, you can’t help but admire these girls for having the guts to wear them. It just proves to people that a person can still be sexy even when they’re fully clothed. And just like Dara’s brother Thunder said, “Though my sister can be pretty when she is alone, since it’s 2NE1, she can pull off those looks. And just cause she does those hairstyles, doesn’t make her less pretty.”
