BEAST recently went to Shanghai, China and held both a press conference and a fan meeting. But that’s not what all the attention is focused. B2UTIES are up in a frenzy after seeing member Hyunseung shed a few tears during the press conference. Everything was smooth sailing at first until during the middle of the conference, his eyes began to tear up.

Although there hasn’t been an official statement, there are many theories as to why the beloved member was crying.

1) Hyunseung has pretty sensitive eyes and due to the lighting, his eyes naturally watered up.

2) Hyunseung was yawning.

3) This is the one reason causing most B2UTIES to be enraged. People have been saying that during the fan signing, Hyunseung had the shortest line of people. That part is understandable. But the part that’s not is getting in his line, then take off to another member. After hearing this possibility, B2UTIES have been furious, saying how could they do such a thing. Supporters have begun to trend ‘#weloveseung‘ on Twitter, voicing their love for Hyunseung.

His eyes are a little bit watery throughout the whole video, but starting at 5:24, that’s where these theories have kicked in. Hyunseung is clearly seen to be yawning, which we know causes tears in our eyes, taking us back to theory #2. I don’t know about you, but yawning tears don’t usually last that long. Some have said that yawning was only a ‘cover up’ and that you could still see a bit of sadness in his eyes.

WHATEVER THE CASE MAY BE, we won’t know for sure because we aren’t Hyunseung. We can only wait until an official statement is released, then will the truth come out. Whatever the reason may be, seeing Hyunseung cry like this breaks my heart.
