This August session of Mixr Legions is shaping up to be an intense one! We have 86 total contestants divided between Super Junior loving ELFs and everyone else that loves KPOP. Throw in free albums and tons of Reward Points and you can expect a lot of fierce competition! Ok let’s get to the contest structure as there’s some new things to know for this Legion session.

Like with the previously concluded Legion session, there will be two stages, where we’ll start with two big teams and then based on the top players, we’ll reorganize everyone into smaller teams. We do this to see who are the active players and who’s not. The winning team in the first phase also gets a bonus in Starting Gold. Territories will be disabled for the first stage.

Your team wins Mixr Legions by scoring the most Legion Points via a number of different methods: getting a lot of EXP, writing Voices post, winning blog games, participating on Scavenger Hunts, etc. You can read the updated instructions on more ways to score Legion points.

There are two changes for this Legion session. In the past we had set dates of when something ended, now Stage 1 ends when one team scores 500 Legion Points. The second is the addition of Grand Projects. We’ll get to Grand Projects in another post.

Objective for Stage 1: Help your team win by being the first to score 500 Legion Points via the methods described in the game instructions.

Dates:
Starts 8/10, ends when one team reaches 500 points.

Rewards for Phase 2:
1st place: each member gets their chosen album for free!
2nd place: 1000 RPs for each member
3rd place: 250 RPs for each member

Bonus Top Scorer Prize:
The highest scoring person that is not on the first place team also gets their album of choice.

Note, each person on the top three team needs to score at least 25 Legion Points to be eligible for album or Reward Point prizes.
