Congrats to Team Super Simple for beating Team KPOP the World in Stage One of Mixr Legions! You guys got to 500 points in a span two and a half days which was much faster than anticipated! Really great job! 17 members of team Super Simple will be advancing to Stage Two as will 13 members of Team KPOP. I’ll be announcing the Stage Two teams on Sunday.

I know many of you had questions about the Grand Project points being awarded to the both teams. It was always the intention for teams to get the full 250 points for completing the Grand Project regardless of who finished it first. Since the competition ends when one team reaches 500 points, finishing the Grand Project first means you cross that threshold faster. That’s incredibly significant when 250 points is half of what you need to win. However, I’m considering lowering the reward for teams that finish their Grand Project in second place or later in Stage Two. Perhaps second place gets 200 instead of 250. It would not have made a different in this past stage since Super Simple won by 125 Legion Points.

One thing to remember here is that Mixr Legions is going to be a constantly evolving social game. The structure of it will change over time because it is based on our EXP system and our editorial which are also constantly evolving. There are many featured planned for Mixr Legions that have yet to be implemented. The Grand Project will constantly be changing based on need. We can also have more than one Grand Project per session. With that said, the underlying game structure, users split into teams and try to outscore each other, will be the same. That’s all you really need to know going foward.
