Remember when it was announced that Leeteuk and Heechul would be enlisting in the army next year in 2012? Apparently, that’s not the case as it has been revealed that Super Junior’s Heechul will be enlisting in the army on September 1st.

A new photo was released of the idol that was never seen before. No he wasn’t wearing a cow beret or a suit. He was wearing camouflage. Heechul suddenly announced that he will be checking in for basic training at Choongnam, Noksan for one month. Then after that, he will be serving his country for 23 months and making Petals and ELFs proud. It’s said that he wants to leave quietly and avoid as much attention as he possibly can. Yeah right, like that’s going to happen.

SM Entertainment stated, “Kim Heechul will still be promoting with Super Junior and working on his television programs like MBC’s “Golden Fishery – Radio Star” as a MC. He will be giving it all he’s got until the day of his enlistment.”

Alright now here’s my explosion take on this.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW. They said that Heechul would enlist next year. As in 2012. Not in 10 days. Super Junior is still in the middle of promotions, there’s still SMTOWN NYC, and possibly SS4. Leeteuk himself even said that they wanted to promote “Mr. Simple” for as long as they can. It’s been barely a month since 5jib came out. AND THEY ANNOUNCE THIS ON KIBUM’S BIRTHDAY?! I’m just so sad right now, I can’t believe it.

Perhaps this was the reason why Heechul was crying by himself in the back and Eunhyuk looked sadder than usual.
