If you’ve seen the first list of 10 Korean drama pet peeves, then I’m sure you knew that list wasn’t complete. Therefore, I present to you, another 12 annoying and head banging worthy recurrences in Korean dramas!

1. Standing in the Rain Will Put You on Your Deathbed
When one of the lead characters is in the rain for two minutes, they’ll get sick the next day and need someone to care for them 24/7 as if they were dying. You’d think rain could kill or something.

2. Car Accidents
If they get hit by a car, they’ll lose their memory. If they’re about to get hit, they’ll stand there doing nothing or their lover pushes them out of the way and then stands there in replace to get hit like an idiot. HAVE YOU NO EYES PEOPLE?

3. Unromantic Kissing Scenes
Apparently in Korean dramas, kissing is pressing your lips to the other person’s and leaving it there uncomfortably for a minute or two. I think I speak for everyone when I say, WE WANT SOME REAL KISSING DANG IT.

4. Soju Heals All Troubles
Every time the characters are depressed, they’ll go and drink some soju. Korean dramas make it look as if soju has the power to heal all troubles.

5. Cancer
Everyone has cancer, and yes, I mean EVERYONE. And if they don’t, well, they’re going to die anyways. It makes me wonder if the script writers for Korean dramas were all killers in their past lives.

6. No Ambulance
If one of the characters get hurt and is on the verge of dying, then someone will piggy back him/her to the hospital because apparently, there’s no such thing as an ambulance.

7. Black Bean Noodles
Almost in every drama, there is black bean noodles involved and they always eat it as if it’s the best thing in the world. I decided to try it for the first time today and am angry that I wasted $7. So a warning to everyone who craves for this, it does not taste as amazing as those hot actors make it out to be! This is why my sisters tell my hot guys will drive me broke.

8. Illegal U-turns and Parking
Apparently, you’re allowed to make U-turns whenever and park wherever you want because the cops will never catch you. I’d like to see someone get caught for once so I can laugh and say, “Unlucky loser, no one ever gets caught.”

9. Never Confessing Their Feelings
Even when they know the other person likes them, they won’t admit their feelings for that person. WHY? It’s as if the words “I love you” is equivalent to saying something extremely horrible or embarrassing like “I’m constipated.”

10. English
When someone speaks English, everyone in the drama will be amaze and think that person is incredibly smart but you wouldn’t be able to understand a single word of it if it wasn’t for the English subtitles.

11. Female/Male Lead Pushing Each Other Away
There’s always a female lead in dramas that will do something really annoying like running away or telling lies because she thinks it’ll make his life easier when all it really does is complicate the situation. Likewise, the guy will try to push the girl away by kissing another girl or being a complete jerk because he’s I don’t know…AN IDIOT?

12. Nice Guys Don’t Get the Girls
Nice, and good looking guys are hard to find in real life but they swing around in dramas all the time only to end up getting locked in the “friends only” zone. Who else would like a key to this place? I definitely wouldn’t mind dating one of the guys that have been thrown in that category.

I could probably rant on and on about my Korean drama pet peeves but that doesn’t change the fact that I’m a KDrama addict that could finish a drama in a matter of days. What are some of your Korean drama pet peeves?
