Ever since the release of Super Junior’s music video for “Mr. Simple“, Youtube really hasn’t been the same. The video has gained explosive response from Korean ELFs and international ELFs and also Kevjumba fans. The music video recently took 5th place on Youtube’s Global Chart, adding on to the list of achievements.
The chart was based on views made from July 27th to August 26th. Super Junior released “Mr. Simple” on August 4th, so they could have placed higher on the chart if they released it on July 27th. The total number of views came out to be 9,409,999 and helped the boys land among top A-list names. Lady Gaga was first with her music video for “Yoü and I” and Nissan, Kanye West, Taylor Swift respectively placed 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
If for some reason you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t seen the music video, here it is:
Currently, ELFs have a goal of reaching 13,000,000 views before Heechul’s enlistment on September 1st.
