After the relieving news that Big Bang’s Daesung was found not guilty was published, VIPs are able to breathe a little bit better now. These past few months have been hard not only Daesung and Hyun’s family, but also to YG Entertainment, Big Bang, Daesung’s loved ones, and of course, the fans.
It seemed like the only news that mattered during the end of May/beginning of June revolved around this accident. Now that the verdict is finally out, fans are anxious to see Daesung reunite with his members and return on stage. YG Entertainment has turned the other way and firmly stated that Daesung will not return for the rest of 2011.
They stated, “Regardless of his ‘not guilty’ verdict, Daesung does not have any activities planned for the rest of this year. Instead, Daesung will continue to focus on going to church.” Due to the distress and overwhelming emotions Daesung has dealt with since the accident, he’s been going to church regularly.
I have to say that this is probably the best decision. As much as I want to see him singing and dancing on stage, it would hurt him too much. Daesung needs time to absorb all of this and take some personal time off. Visit friends, family, and relax.
We’ve always supported you Daesung, and we won’t stop. We’re willing to wait for however long you need to return to the stage.
