On August 30th, various artists from SM Entertainment attended the production conference for the upcoming musical ‘Fame‘ at the Lotte Hotel.
SNSD’s Tiffany, CSJH’s Lina and Trax’s Jungmo were at the event. Unfortunately, Super Junior’s Eunhyuk couldn’t go because he had a conflicting schedule. This will be the very first musical that the group will star in with their fellow labelmates.
Producer Shin Chun Soo commented, “This is the first time so many stars have been cast for a musical. It is true that there is a great amount of stars from SM, but it’s a musical about students in an arts high school with a lot of unique and different characters. These new young friends who have been cast will be the leads of the Korean musical industry. Those who have been criticizing us for casting too many idols will be able to see for themselves through the actual musical.”
The cast for the musical will also include Son Ho Young, Goh Eun Sung, Kim Dae Hyjn, Shin Ui Jung, Choi Juri, Im Sun Myung, Lee Young Gi and many others.
The musical will start running on November 25th, through to January 29th.
