Yay, the tracks for 2nd full length album “Neverland” are finally out! Plus, the music video was pretty awesome. What’s left is for U-KISS to make their official comeback on September 8th. Let’s take a look at the title track!

Here is “Neverland” again:

Neverland, the make-believe place where you never have to grow up. Ah, the childhood memories of the Peter Pan stories come to mind. Well, in this song, the message is not aimed towards daydreaming children who want to stay young forever, but for the young ones in love who want to have their youth and romance last forever instead. I like the “techno fantasy” feel of this tune. Right from the beginning, there is a catchy beat and manipulation of the voices to make it sound more huskily alluring yet manly. Then, it builds up to the chorus of the song with a beautiful start of a journey to Neverland. This line is so great: “Tell the DJ turn it up up up and da-da-dance a little more.”

Absolutely love how creative the lyrics are in respect with the whole Neverland theme. The guy is telling the girl to follow him to a fantasy like fairy tale where everyday is the same (tomorrow is like today). He will show her money, love, fashion and fame, and all that’s in between. Nights with no sleep, and tell the DJ to turn it up to dance a little more. The guy will only go with that girl, to this world of imagination that has no end and will never end: Neverland. “So don’t hesitate,” he tells her. “Grab my hand and we will fly through the forest of buildings in the sky. Everything you believe is reality, and hundreds of millions of stars are scattered beneath your feet.” She will be a girl forever, and forever they will both stay young. If she opens her eyes and doesn’t believe it at first, he will stay by her side with no one to nag at her. “Just trust me and do as I say,” is what he’s saying. Okay, who wants to go to this Neverland? (meee!)

I am seriously obsessed with this song, especially the chorus. Oh, and Kevin’s parts too. Congrats to Kiseop’s upgrade in number of lines! I give this song a 5 out of 5, or even better, a never ending score, mwahaha. The whole album was to my liking, actually, which is kind of rare for me. Looking forward to their official comeback, and they need to win an award this time around! U-KISS, FIGHTING!

i was quite happy with the whole album. although, i personally felt like the DJ and dancing references were a bit… out of place?

I agree 110%! Every song is amazing and I love the fact that KiSeop-Oppa has more lines to sing! Everyone’s voices are amazing, even through the auto-tune, and I just NEED to learn this dance! NEVERLAND ROCKS! U-KISS FIGHTING!

I do like the song...but I will give it a 4.8 because since it was the title song, I expected to be the BEST song out of the album...But I actually LOVE “Someday” way MORE! XD
