Last April, a commercial featuring SNSD was aired for Woongjin Coway’s ice water purifier. They signed with the brand last March and were in charge of promoting the “Coway, Look After Mom” campaign. Thanks to these girls, the company has managed to attract customers of all ages.

It looks like SNSD’s popularity is helping out the company by a ton, as sales were reported to have a 400% increase! A representative of the company said, “Ever since SNSD’s CF for our ice water purifier first began airing last April, sales for our water purifiers rose 400% in the second quarter compared to the previous year. Our recent releases have also been receiving the same effect, showing a higher rise in sales than ever before.

An online survey was also held, asking 100 women between the ages of 25 and 39 two questions. ‘Which water purifier brand do you think of first and which brand do you prefer?’ Surprise, surprise. Woongjin Coway rose to first place with 81% and 56% of the votes.

A new CF starring the girls was released on August 26th.

Let’s face it, SNSD could be endorsing garbage bags and they would still raise sales!
