JYJ has done it again! Even when unable to perform on any music shows, unable to promote the preorder sale of their new album, they rock the charts. By what Olleh Music says, JYJ has been ranking not only the #1 spot but also the #2 and #3 spots on the social charts for the second week in a row!

Opposite to normality, where artists and groups who release new albums and even mini albums appear on music shows and sometimes variety shows to promote and spread the word, JYJ has been nowhere to be seen. Oh sure, you can see them in the LG Optimus commercials, see Jaejoong in his drama Protect the Boss. You can catch any of them online in videos but really, what does that matter when you’d rather see them live? Even live through a TV or computer screen is better than prerecorded videos!

Earlier this year, in May, KBS stated (more than once, I might add) that once JYJ released a new album they’d be seen on music shows. According to C-JeS Entertainment, JYJ’s agency, they’ve not gotten called once about getting JYJ on any music shows so far. “We haven’t received any calls to perform on any programs. We are keeping a close eye on the situation for now, seeing that their album has not been officially released.”

Uh…last time I checked even before albums were released we had other bands performing snippets of their music or at least they’d show up on shows and say, ‘Hey this is when my new album comes out’. But whatever, maybe I’m just paranoid.

Anyway, as C-JeS also stated, “In regards to JYJ’s performance regulations, KBS informed us last May that more than once, the court ruled in favor of JYJ being able to perform on stage and that it should be a non-issue. KBS guaranteed that once JYJ’s new album is officially released, they should be able to perform without a stitch. There is talk about outside factors possibly causing some problems, but we trust KBS and we want JYJ to be able to perform before their fans that have been waiting for them.”

Okay, I can get giving trust and all. I just don’t want that to turn out badly. Right now it seems JYJ’s main focus is more on meeting their fans, with plans to become the first Korean artists to perform in Spain, as well as perform for their fans in Germany, the rest of Europe, and of course Japan and the rest of Asia. Well they need to add the US to that list again, but I’ll be good and quiet for now as they’ve technically been here twice in a year. The point is they are looking for all sorts of awesome ways to greet their fans.

They have released get Out as a part of LG’s new commercial for the Optimus phone, so for now I guess that’s the only way we are listening to them on our TV’s. Though they are working on a video-based community with which to communicate way better with fans from all across the globe, not to mention starting a new project to help the poor and neglected. Well they are making good use of their time, don’t you think? As opposed to endlessly performing on music shows for a month or more. Oh well I guess we take what we can get for now, right? What do you guys think about all this? Don’t you want to see JYJ on a music show too?
