In only TWO DAYS after being put for sale, over 50,000 copies of JYJ’s new album ‘In Heaven‘ have been sold as stores are rushing to keep up.
I kind of saw this coming, but at the same time I thought maybe all the albums had been preordered already. I mean, immediately after preorders began on the 10th, over 300,000 copies were reserved!
The distributors are working hard overtime (bet the employees are loving the overtime bonuses!) to keep up with supply and demand but are falling behind more and more. JYJ’s agency C-JeS Entertainment stated, “We are taking appropriate action to produce more albums so that it’s accessible to all of our fans.”
Well then! I hope everyone who wanted a copy ordered one, there might not BE any copies for awhile…the 50,000 have been sold by 5pm KST on the second day. Crazy, right? No, just JYJ.
This is all not to mention both ‘In Heaven’ and ‘Get Out‘, written by Kim Jaejoong himself, have been racing up the charts. And to my current knowledge, the ‘In Heaven’ album is #1 on the Hanteo charts right now!
So tell me. Who bought a copy of ‘In Heaven’ or preordered one?
