KARA is fast on track to becoming Wonder Girls 2.0. What do I mean by that? Well, let’s see. The Wonder Girls came back last year after a two-year hiatus and promoted their “2 Different Tears” for about 3 weeks. KARA came back after nearly a one-year hiatus and will seem to be going back to Japan after promoting their song “Step” for about 3 weeks as well.

KARA will finish promotions for “Step” this week and return to Japan in order to promote their fifth Japanese single, “Winter Magic”. During their three week promotion, the girls have currently won 2 wards on M! Countdown, 2 K-Chart awards on Music Bank, and 1 Mutizen on Inkigayo. Their Korean fans will probably be sad to see them go.

I get the feeling that all the Korean artists are going to eventually migrate to Japan and never come back.
