It appears as though SNSD’s delayed comeback didn’t just upset fans, but it’s also thrown the comeback plans of other artists into a complete mess.

Many groups had planned their comebacks around SNSD, hoping not to be overshadowed by the girls, but now that the date no longer stands, all the groups have confessed to having to move their comeback dates once again.

A representative of one of the artists who was originally scheduled to make a comeback at the end of this month said, “With SNSD suddenly delaying their comeback, we’re all worried about whether it will overlap with ours. It’s more beneficial for us on the digital charts, and gives us the chance to make headlines if there was a two week gap between their comeback and ours. It seems we’ll just have to set another date.”

Another representative continued, “SNSD has made a lot of achievements overseas, and since it’s their first Korean comeback in a while, they will surely gain a lot of headlines. We’re trying to set a comeback date away from theirs, so we’re all keeping our ears open for a final date.”

As always, there are rumors saying that SNSD has set their comeback date for the third week of October, but SM Entertainment has not yet confirmed whether this is true or not, since all of their interviews and comeback stages, which were originally scheduled for the first week of October, have been postponed.

What would possibly happen if the other artists would do a comeback first?


It makes sense. Even if you have a great song out, when competing against a more popular group, there’s no way your song will get the light it deserves. Since comebacks don’t happen that often, they can only maneuver around these groups in hopes of successfully promoting and enlarging the fan base. It’s really sad, but that’s kpop. 


It’s a threat now huh....


That sucks for other groups.

SM Entertainment is smart. Man this is going to be huge. like mega; it’s almost like when heechul annocecent his militry status. i think they are just going to set the date and just come back with a bang there will be no warning, they are probably planning but i can see them hold just a press confrence and then let it all out so no one can plan around it. But what ever SM does SNSD will hate every news stand in korea and it will be major.


I feel bad for the other groups having to push back their dates of comeback just to stand a chance against SNSD.
