Unfortunately for many fans, Rain officially enlisted in the Korean army on the 11th of October. Whilst traveling to the military training camp, he shot a video himself to share his last goodbye with all his fans and uploaded it to YouTube with the title, ‘Rain’s enlistment video revealed.’

The star is seen sitting in a car, dressed casually in a hat and scarf, perfectly fitting the autumn weather. Looking emotionally into the camera, Rain says, “It’s an hour before my enlistment. I promise to be back soon. Over the past ten years I was able to achieve a lot of things because of your support. Thank you for all the tears and laughter throughout our time together and all the many memorable moments,” and ended his speech with a touching, “I love you.”

Finally, he stated, “I apologize for causing such a fussy enlistment. Thank you for the ten years of love you have shown me,” and finished with a charismatic shout of allegiance.

Once Rain completes five weeks of basic military training, he will become an active duty soldier. Good luck, Rain!
