Halloween is right around the corner and every year, the most common costumes are of Disney princesses. There are many female idols who have personalities so similar to female leads in Disney movies that they would fit these characters on the inside and outside. Lets take a look at some female idols and their Disney princess counterparts!

SNSD’s Seohyun as Snow White
When we think of Snow White, we would usually think of someone that is pure, innocent, and friendly. With her upright personality and friendly image, Seohyun fits this description perfectly.

2NE1’s Park Bom as Ariel from The Little Mermaid
Like Ariel, Park Bom’s bright personality charms those around her and makes it hard for others to hate her. Additionally, both are known for their amazing vocals.

SNSD’s YoonA as Cinderella
Cinderella was treated poorly and pushed around by her sisters and stepmother, but never once did she lose her kind nature. Similarly, YoonA has always maintained her friendly personality despite having been criticized by many people for her lack of talent and for gaining popularity only because of her looks.

After School’s Kahi as Tiana from The Princess and the Frog
Tiana is an independent and strong-willed character who worked all her life to realize her dream of becoming a restaurant owner. Being in her thirties, Kahi was at a disadvantage in the music industry where age is an important factor to an idol’s success. Her parents also disapproved of her pursuing a musician career but Kahi didn’t let any of this stop her from going after her dreams. She followed her heart and now she’s living her dreams.

SNSD’s Tiffany as Pocahontas
Like Pocahontas, Tiffany is cheerful, happy, strong, and also very caring for the people around her. During her early debut days, she was widely hated but she stuck through these difficulties with a smile on her face. Tiffany is also courageous as evident by the fact that she left her home when she was young to pursue her dreams in Korea. Despite being alone herself, Tiffany is always there to support and show guidance to her juniors.

2NE1’s CL as Megara from Hercules
Megera is strong-willed and is someone who isn’t afraid to stand up for herself. Her strong character can be related to 2NE1’s fierce leader CL. Like Megara, CL is someone who isn’t going to back down from anyone.

Wonder Girls‘ Sunye as Belle from Beauty and the Beast
Belle was forced to live with a beast in order to rescue her father but despite being thrown into this situation, she lived with a genuinely kind heart that brought out the best in the beast. Likewise, Wonder Girls’ leader Sunye lost her parents at a young age but instead of drowning in the misery, she lived life doing her best in everything and always lent a hand to those in need.
