SNSD officially started their global promotions for their new song, “The Boys”, which started with their MV teaser which was revealed late last month.

Amazingly enough, the teaser was played on massive electronic displays all over the world, including New York City’s Time Square, Tokyo, Japan (Shibuya, Shinjuku, Harajuku), Beijing, China (Wangfujing) and Gangnam in Seoul.

SNSD has scheduled their maxi single release in the states for next month, and their music video should play in Times Square for an entire month. Hopefully, this will capture the attention of all tourists and New Yorkers in the area. The edited version of the music video teasers are set to play in the previously mentioned cities for a month.

Their new album, “The Boys”, was released on the 19th of October.

It seems as though things are busy in the world of K-Pop. Recently, a ‘SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR in NEW YORK‘ advertisement was seen being displayed in New York City’s Time Square. The concert is going to be held at Madison Square Garden on the 23rd of October. Have a look at a fancam of the advert below.
