On the upcoming episode of MBC every1’s “Weekly Idol,” MCs Jung Hyung Don and Defcon were tested on how well they knew girl group SNSD. During the show, the two MCs visited a nail salon the SNSD members frequent in Shinsadong, called BUB Nail Salon.

The representative of the shop revealed that the girls often go for the lavish nail designs before an event. Tiffany, in particular, is a fan of extravagant nail art designs that involve gluing on each decoration and pearls onto the nail. The cost for her nail design was revealed to be ₩300,000 (roughly $260), shocking both Jung Hyung Don and Defcon.

After their visit to the salon, the hosts returned to the quiz where they had to answer various SNSD related questions like figuring out the identity of the girls through photos of their legs, and matching up the girls’ relatives with the correct member.

Holy crap!  Uh...that’s a lot of groceries i could be buying… They look nice and all, but all the stuff on her nails would annoy me if i had them on mine.  But then again...i rarely have anything on my nails lol


That’s a ton of money for nails! Imagine all the other things that the money could be spent on!

I don’t think it’s the actual service, it’s really the stuff that’s added on the nails.

Also, I don’t think she paid that much or anything for her nails. Celebs get free stuff all the time and it advertises the nail salon. $260 is cheap advertising if you’re a business.
