Ah, Homecoming. This is mainly a tradition that’s seen in North America, particularly in the US. It’s where schools welcome back their alumni and hold various events (high school Homecoming dances, college football games). Traditionally, in high school, there is also what’s known as the Homecoming Court, where the senior year typically chooses which seniors should be present in the Court. Or maybe it was the entire high school - I can’t remember! But that’s besides the point. See, say that all the KPOP stars went to the same school (goodness - that would be a sight to see). This is who I’d choose as my Homecoming Court!
(Actually, at my school, the Homecoming Court was chosen based on popularity, aka ASB. Unless you count the year where my older brother’s classmates voted for him as a joke and we actually think he won, but because he didn’t show up, someone else was chosen as Homecoming King. And they found someone that looked like him to pose in the group picture. But I digress.)
The Princesses
f(x)’s Sulli.
This young lady is loved amongst the KPOP idols. After all, she is asked to appear in quite a few special stages (ok, probably mostly SM but still). It’s no surprise that she would appear in a Homecoming Court and plus, her smile and cheerful nature will bring much happiness to such a Court.

IU.
IU is nicknamed as Korea’s “little sister” and she’s quite popular in her own right, especially amongst the ahjusshi fans. But she can be a bit mischievous at times. Who said princesses couldn’t have such a side to them? Nonetheless, IU is a sweet girl who looks out after others.

KARA’s Goo Hara.
Goo Hara of KARA is quite popular as well. Not only that but she is quite pretty! She is said to have an innocent and playful nature to her, so she can seem like a naive child when she sees something new.

SNSD’s Jessica.
She’s not known as the Ice Princess for nothing! Jessica has the air of a princess surrounding her and she seems to exude a cold, icy feeling if you don’t know her. But get to know her and she’s quite funny to hang around with!

The Princes
2PM’s Nichkhun.
Well, well, well. Nichkhun is known as the Thai Prince. He has a kind, gentle demeanor and he is always seen with that cute smile of his! Besides, with his looks and manners, he is quite the gentleman prince.

BEAST’s Kikwang.
Kikwang gives off such a friendly feeling and is always, always smiling that you can’t help but make friends with him. After all, princes don’t have to be haughty people, right? And he’d also amp up the good looks department.

JYJ’s Jaejoong.
Ah, Jaejoong. He gives off such a prince feeling. And he’s quite a flower boy too. Not only that, but he also seems to be mysteriously in thought. A handsome man deep in thought as if he were brooding? We definitely need one of those for the Court!

SHINee’s Minho.
Hmm, to put him here or not? Such a good-looking child Minho is, but it’s a good thing we regulated him to the role of a prince. He’d be chasing down his hyungs and if he were King, that wouldn’t be good. But he has the stature and the looks and the flaming charisma. All characteristics to help him out!

And that’s all for our Home–wait, where’s the King and Queen? You can’t have a Homecoming Court without the King and Queen. Whoops!
The Queen
SNSD’s Yoona.
As expected, right? After all, Yoona pretty much tops any poll that she’s in. Pretty much. And why not? She’s pretty, nice, and affable. And likable. She does reign supreme over those polls, so put her as a choice for Queen and she’s pretty much has it wrapped up.

The King.
Super Junior’s Siwon.
The King must be perfect in pretty much all aspects. Well, no one can be that perfect. Unless you’re referring to Siwon. Seriously. I mean, the guy has the looks, the personality, the manners, the height, everything. Even his group members are jealous of him! And perfect guy should be King, right? Oh wait, as Leeteuk put it, “Siwon has bad hearing…God is fair.”

Yes, yes, I can’t put everyone down - there are way too many idols out there! And besides, my school had 10 people in the Court. Unfortunately. 10 is a good number. But don’t you fret - you should just wait for the Winter Formal Court and Prom Court? I guarantee you that there will be new people on the list (unlike my high school, which chose pretty much the same people for both Winter Formal and Prom).
Who would you choose for your Homecoming Court?
