The Embassy of Canada in Korea recently conducted a survey in which they asked 500 participants to name the Korean celebrity they wish to study abroad with. Male idol group BEAST was the #1 male idol choice with 39% of the votes, while Park Ha Sun came in first out of the female celebrities with 35% of the votes.

BEAST has grown in popularity since their debut thanks to their charismatic stage presence and witty personalities. Their attendance at the 2011 Asia Song Festival with UNICEF even caused overseas fans to fly in for the concert.

Park Ha Sun made a name for herself with her character transformation from a conservative and quiet role in MBC drama ‘Dongee‘, to a hilarious and goofy professor in ongoing sitcom, MBC’s ‘HighKick 3 – Counterattack of the Short Legs‘

Other male stars fans wanted to study abroad with were Park Si Hoo (20%), Rain (15%), Kim Lae Won (10%), and Lee Dong Wook (8%). The female stars were Moon Chae Won (22%), UEE (16%), Soo Ae (12%), and Lee Min Jung (12%).
