Next year, we’re already going to see a handful of idols acting in the drama, “Dream High 2“. Well, now we have another one to add to the list as KARA’s Jiyoung and Supernova’s Geonil have been cast in “Rainbow Rose“!
Filming is set to start on November 5th and will hopefully end on schedule on December 20th. “Rainbow Rose” will be a youth melodrama and will air 12 episodes. By having members from KARA and Supernova, who are both popular in Korea and Japan, the drama will air in April on TVTOKYO and Public Korean TV. The rest of the cast is impressive as well. We’ve got Lee Sang Yeop (Miss Ripley), Sunwoo Jaeduk (Heartstrings), Julien Kang (High Kick!’s 2 and 3), and many more.
This will be the third interaction between KARA and Supernova. Jiyoung released “Merry Love” last year alongside member Sungje, who also is currently staring in the musical “200 Pounds Beauty” with Gyuri.
