SNSD’s YoonA and Taeyeon’s behavior during an American interview has created a hot topic for debate.

Not too long ago, the girls of SNSD were interviewed by ‘MTV IGGY’ at the MTV building in New York’s Times Square. While Tiffany and Jessica received praises from netizens back home for their fluent English, fellow members YoonA and Taeyeon’s behavior during the interview has earned them much criticism.

During the interview, YoonA and Taeyeon both looked as if they weren’t paying attention to what their fellow members or the interviewer was saying. Taeyeon was even caught with her chin on her hands, looking very bored.

Netizens criticized their behavior saying, “As Korea’s cultural representatives, shouldn’t they put their best face forward?”, “I’m a little disappointed… even if they’re tired, this is an important Hallyu moment”, and “Very unprofessional.”

Others came to YoonA and Taeyeon’s defense, saying that the girls had caught a cold before the interview due to their busy schedules.
