It’s a fact that people can gain overnight fame just by revealing their skin. Just take a look at the following actresses and you’ll see why.

Lee Chae Young has appeared on many portal sites for the dresses she wore to the Blue Dragon Film Festival and Seoul Drama Awards, expressing uncomfortable feelings and embarrassment over all the attention.

This green, backless dress gave Jeon Sae Hong much stress as people began labeling her as a sexy image; she confessed, however, that she’d prefer to shed that sexy image that people put on her.

The charismatic Kim So Yeon was absent from the entertainment world for three years, only to make a successful comeback with a very revealing white dress.


Go Eun Ah and Kwak Ji Min rose to interest at the Icheon Chunsa Film Festival for their scandalous black dresses. Go Eun Ah received the nickname of “little Kim Hye Soo” as a result.

And most recently, Oh In Hye gained massive attention for wearing a revealing orange-toned dress at the Busan International Film Festival. Many netizens expressed disapproval at her choice of clothing, which led to her confessing, “I didn’t choose that dress with bad intentions but when people started to have negative views about it, I cried alone in my room for hours.”

Well, looking at this from an objective view, one must wonder why the actresses chose the dresses in the first place. Wouldn’t they know that they would recieve a lot of backlash for their dresses? In my honest opinion they should have expected a bunch of negative comments.

The only exception to me would be Jeon Sae Hong, whose dress doesn’t seem that bad (unless her front is revealing), although I’ve heard that backless clothing can be very scandalous in Korean culture.

Which of these dresses do you think is the most and least provocative? What’s your standpoint on wearing such clothing just to gain fame?

Dude...is that supposed to be attractive or something??? Some people just shouldn’t show that much...I like the green dress...it shows more back than front...it’s a little better…

Go Eun Ah’s is much better than the others, cuz she is only showing a little of her breasth, not as much as the others doo! the rest is omg, to showing, especially the last one! doesn’t they have pride?`well it’s not my concern anyway, they can suit themself as they want! xD

hmmm i think that is a bit too much and if your going to cry just b/c people say they don’t like it. then it is your own fault. i say if your going to wear anything or nothing at least have pride in what you wear and that you wear it for yourself.


These people need to attend an american awards show. Really? Have you seen some of the crazy outfits american stars wear? Lady gaga, janet jackson etc. I dont think these are as bad as those. Ive seen so much worse.

Well, they kinda set themselves up for the negative comments. It’s pretty up to a point, then it turns into too revealing. As long as they’re ‘dressed’, I guess it’s their choice, right?

yeahh..all that boob stuff isnt very flattering. while i admit, some of them are very stylish..i think it can go too far, as far as looking very bad overall. =_= First and last pictures were the most unattractive ones imo…


I agree with many that say Oh In Hye has the worst dress on. Its kind of disturbing to look at from the side.

this is too much. they should wear more proper clothes because they will be the attention of the public.. if they wear not revealing clothes, have good manner and show their great talent, they will rise slowly but it will last for long time.
