Looks like the Hallyu Wave is still on it’s journey to conquer the world, and it’s going at full speed. Just recently, Google has put up plans to set up a Youtube account exclusive for KPOP!

A report by the Wall Street Journal wrote that, Google’s executive chairman Eric Schmidt has flown all the way to Seoul to met executives of some major IT companies in Korea. He has also scheduled to hold a press conference on the upcoming Tuesday and he’s expected to announce the future plans regarding to the company’s relations with Korea other than music.

The Wall Street Journal reported, “Judging by the response to a recent series of K-pop concerts around the world, that’ll get plenty of interest online.” The report also noted SNSD’s fluent English in an interview that was held in New York last month after SMTOWN’s Madison Square Garden concert.

This move had been expected because the constant appearance of K-pop on Youtube. But so far, no further details or announcements has been made yet, so keep your eyes peeled for more information.
