tvN ” Talk Show Taxi ” recently sat down with Jay Park to talk to him about his career thus far, 2PM and his life before debut.Apparently he never intended to be a singer although his mother pushed for him to try out so he did.He was a huge fan of Rap and music in general but didn’t really feel like he would ever pursue a career in singing, though when auditions rolled around his mother insisted he try out. I’m really glad he listened to her.

“The biggest reason I’ve become a singer now is because of my mother. My family was the engine that pushed me through the rough three-year trainee period in Korea. If I had given up everything and went back to the States, I would have felt ashamed of myself - and wouldn’t have been able to face my mother ever again,”Jay stated.

Awww I’m glad he didn’t give up. It seems like his mother is a really big driving force in his life. She made him a stronger person! I’m very glad that he has such a tight family life, it must be nice.Airing on November 10th though he will have a much tougher interview tonight. With such questions as dating life,Girlfriends and much more he will be put in a tough limelight. Good luck to you Jay

Its nice his mother made him try, Most parents dont want their kids to be rockstars and stuff like that...Unless their like elivs and what not.
