10 Male Idols who would make good boyfriends

It is the dream of many fangirls to have their favorite male idols as their boyfriends and those fangirls would probably die of bliss if that were to happen. But from what we know of said male KPOP idols and their personalities that we see, quite a few of them would make good boyfriends. Aren’t you curious to know which of your favorite KPOP male idols would make the list?

2AM’s Jo Kwon.
Jo Kwon may be a diva and he can certainly act dorky and all. But, a good boyfriend never fails to make his girlfriend laugh. He’ll help cheer you up whenever you’re down and bring a smile to your face. And though he can be dorky, he can help comfort you and be nice to you. Just ask Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga-in!

2PM’s Nichkhun.
The Thai Prince of 2PM has been melting the hearts of fangirls since Day 1. His sweet, charming smile will make all your worries magically disappear (I think?). And you can be sure that he’ll protect you when he can - guy has some nice choco abs that aren’t for show only!

BEAST’s Yoseob.
Yoseob is one of the most thoughtful and well-mannered KPOP idols out there. When confronted with a situation, he doesn’t immediately go into a frenzy. In fact, he calmly writes out his thoughts for all to read. That is one trait that should be in every good boyfriend! And not only that, but he’d sing for you and make you laugh with his cute antics!

BIG BANG’s Taeyang.
Guy needs a girl of his own. Taeyang may sing beautifully, but he’s always getting the short end of the stick in his songs. WHY?! He’s an excellent singer and a fine dancer. Plus, with his irresistible eye smile and loyal ways, he’s a boyfriend that can’t be missed. Though, you’d have to contend with IU…

CNBLUE’s Yonghwa.
Who wouldn’t want him as a boyfriend? Ah, so sweet. Yonghwa is pretty modest as well. He doesn’t think himself to be good-looking, especially because of his crooked smile (as he called it). But that’s what makes him so endearing! Plus, if you noticed in his drama roles, he always takes care of the girl he loves. He can act quite jealous too, but he would treat you like the princess you’ve always wished to be.

JYJ’s Jaejoong.
Though Prince Jaejoong is quite a flower boy (and thus, many girls want his attention) and might have a bit of a 4D personality (ok, quite a bit), still, the guy is generous and kind to the ones he cares about. He’s vocal about saying “I love you” to fans and he’s even skipped school to sing for his girlfriend.

MBLAQ’s Thunder.
Thunder is like Yoseob - well-mannered and respectful. He might have a quirky sister (who is lovable, by the way), but he’s humble and pretty much laughing and smiling (when he doesn’t have to act macho and mysterious for MBLAQ’s songs). Plus, the guy knows how to respect his elders (he didn’t even punish Kyuhyun that much!) and would definitely treat his girlfriend with much love and extra care.

SHINee’s Onew.
Oh Onew. This guy is like a walking disaster just waiting to happen, hence why it’s known as Onew Sangtae. But even though he trips over himself and nothing, he still always has a smile plastered on his face. Like the above picture. You can’t be mad at this guy after seeing his adorable expression! And he’s quite honest, which is a good trait to find in a boyfriend. But he might love his chicken more. That’s not good.

Super Junior’s Donghae.
Now, you might be wondering why I chose Donghae over Siwon. Yes, Siwon is a perfect gentleman and such, but he’d have this long line of girls fawning over him and girls who are with popular guys always get heckled by jealous girls (ring a bell? Mangas, K-dramas, etc.). Well, I guess you would get heckled if you’re with Donghae, but his cuteness and his sweet disposition will protect you from those girls. I think. Well, the guy is sweet - gotta give him credit for that.

U-KISS’ Soohyun.
Soohyun is one of those leaders that will take responsibility over matters that’s not his to begin with. And what does that translate to? Making sure that you’re alright and protecting you to make sure that you’re not hurt. I’m guessing that he’ll apologize to you over little things that he doesn’t need to apologize to you. And hey, to make up, he’d probably treat you to something. Ka-ching!
