We all know that Kim Yuna is an extremely talented, Olympic figure-skating queen, but it turns out that she’s a natural model as well, showing her charisma on the front cover of Harper’s Bazaar’s December issue.
All three versions of the cover showcase Yuna’s different charms. In the first, she’s sporting a black leather jacket and shorts, radiating luxury and comfort in a black fur shawl. Her defined smokey makeup focuses her eyes and her loose, wavy hair gives off a chic feel.
The second version provides a different image, as she seems more provocative. Her lips match the reddish purple background, creating a sense of mystery. The dark cat eye makeup look brings attention to her eye, and the mysteriousness is intensified as the other eye is covered with a military-esque hat.
In the last version, Kim Yuna sits atop a huge, black chair, and her petite frame compared to the chair makes her seem like a doll. She’s wearing a black and beige printed dress with a corset and laced-up black and beige boots, creating a feminine image. Her neat pony tail makes her look sophisticated as well.
As of now, the figure skater is taking a temporary hiatus in Korea, planning to study more often along with training.
My personal favorite cover is the second version, as I feel that her nails and clothing match her makeup very well.
Which cover do you like the best?
