Prior to performing at the 2011 MAMA that was held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on November 29th, the ladies of SNSD participated in a press conference at the Singapore Marina Bay Sands Hotel. Dressed professionally, the girls shared their thoughts on performing at MAMA.

There were 200 reporters from 120 different media sources in attendance at the press conference, all waiting to ask questions to the girls who are not only gaining popularity throughout Asia, but Europe as well.

During the press conference, they were asked, “How long does it take to perfect your makeup for a large-scale performance such as MAMA?” In response, they said, “Stage makeup takes anywhere from 2-3 hours“, proving just how much care they put into their exterior appearance.

When asked by a German reporter, “You have a lot of fans in Germany as well. Would you be able to come perform in Germany in the future?”, the girls replied, “We are always ready to go where our fans want us, whether it be Germany or elsewhere“.

They further added, “We think that the 2011 MAMA will be a good opportunity for us to communicate with a lot of different people through our music. It’s another chance for us to more intimately share our music.”

The 2011 MAMA was available for streaming online in thirteen different countries including Singapore, Japan, and Thailand. The event will be also make its way on TV in seven countries including America, China, and France.
