The two Super Junior members began DJing for the radio program back in August 21, 2006 and after five years and three months, they have announced their departure from the show. The radio show on December 4 will be their last episode as DJs.
On November 30th, producers of the radio program revealed that the two idols were leaving due to their busy individual activities. However, Super Junior fans don’t have to shed very many tears as fellow Super Junior members Sungmin and Ryeowook will be filling in their spots.
Although groups like SNSD, and Infinite showed interest in the DJ positions, producers wanted to maintain the “Super Junior” aspect of the show and personally requested for Sungmin and Ryeowook to become the new DJs.
Through their roles as DJs on ‘Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio’, Leeteuk and Eunhyuk have earned the titles as “longest idol DJ” with their departure.
