SNSD’s Yuri may be making her debut on the small-screen through the new SBS drama, ‘Fashion King‘!

‘Fashion King’ is scheduled to air something in March of next year. Yuri has not signed the contract for the drama yet, but she is considering the role of the female lead. She is reportedly looking over SNSD’s schedules to see if she can change around a few scheduled activities to allow her to film for the drama. The schedule is expected to be finalized around mid-to-end December, and Yuri will be present for the first film shoot.

‘Fashion King’ is about a man who becomes successful in the fashion industry after starting work at the Dongdaemun market. Actor Yoo Ah In, who made his name known through his role in ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal‘, will be taking on the main role.

An insider from ‘Fashion King’ commented, “We saw her shed tears on the spot in a MV, and we know that her acting skills will not fall short even if she were to join us on set immediately. She can play multiples roles, ranging from a young teenager character to a mature woman in her 20′s.”

If Yuri accepts the casting offer, then she will be competing against fellow member YoonA for drama ratings as YoonA’s ‘Love Rain‘ will begin airing around the same time as ‘Fashion King’.
