6,000 strong (the majority of whom were young ladies in their 20s) came to see the 7 boys of U-KISS at their Japanese debut event on December 17th. After releasing their Japanese debut single, Tick Tack, the boys seem ready to take on Japan.
After all, “Tick Tack” debuted at #3 on the Oricon Daily Chart before vaulting to #1 on Tower Records. Fans at the event were treated to the dance performance of Tick Tack as well as the Japanese ballad version of hit song “0330″.
Soohyun was thankful for the love from the fans and expressed, “I’m always warm because I have all of my fans. Dear Santa, I would like to place first on the Oricon chart.” Fans immediately erupted in applause and cheers at the wish.” Kiseop added that the boys “were really glad” for placing 3rd on the Oricon Daily Chart.
U-KISS concluded the event with some thanks (”It’s an honor to finally make our debut in Japan. We’re glad that our fans are showing us so much support. We’ll work harder so that we can make our fans happier.”) and a high-five event for those who bought their album.
Wow, that is a lot of people. Do you see the people on the upper levels? Japan really loves U-KISS. Fighting, boys!
