KBS’s ‘Music Bank‘ has announced that they will be bringing their show to four overseas cities next year!

The concert starts in February with the first stop being Paris, followed by Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and finally Buenos Aires. Producers of the show are working to get more cities added as well as artists lined up for the performances.

‘Music Bank’ held their ‘Music Bank in Tokyo K-Pop Festival‘ back in July, and managed to attract 45,000 fans to the show. They are currently the only music program that is taking their show overseas. The success of their Tokyo Dome concert led producers of the show to promise, “We’ll continue to support and aid in the spreading of Korean culture all over the world.”

Although their attempt at bringing their show overseas is earning cheers from K-pop fans outside of South Korea, industry officials disapprove of their act as they believe KBS is using the Hallyu wave for their own benefit.

Whatever the reason may be, K-pop fans from outside of Korea will get the chance to see their favorite artists and idols will be able to meet up with their overseas fans more often. It’s a win-win situation in my opinion, so hop on the bandwagon other music programs (SBS’s ‘Inkigayo‘, Mnet’s ‘M! Countdown‘, MBC’s ‘Music Core‘, and others)!
