JYP Entertainment has been hiding their charitable nature as recent news have made it throughout the streets regarding their honorable deeds. Starting from year 2002, it was revealed that the stars of JYP Entertainment have secretly been holding free concerts for the patients of a hospital located in Kang Nam.

The outbreak of news begun when a representative from the agency revealed, “Singers from the entertainment such as Wonder Girls held a small free Christmas performance for the Sam Sung Seoul Hospital in Kang Nam last week.” Idols such as the Wonder Girls, 2PM, Miss A, Lim Jung Hee, San E, and Joo were known to have been present at the event as they sang their hit songs to warm the hearts of the patients and their family.

The chain of charitable performances began in 2002 when J.Y. Park‘s parent received a successful heart surgery in the hospital. Feeling extremely grateful and as though in debt, JYP decided to return the favors by introducing this event.

The representative added, “We did not officially reveal this to the media before because it’s something we’ve conducted secretly for a while.”

Who knew that a secret concert was being held every year? Seeing how hysterical fans are, I have a feeling next year, certain fans will go to the extremity of hurting themselves so they would be emitted to the hospital! But with that said, I think this is such a good deed! No one likes to spend Christmas in hospital and by holding this special concert, it just gives patients something to look forward to.
