Usually when someone thinks of toilets, the word ‘luxury’ is probably the last word that comes to mind, right? Well, not so much for the people in Japan. Only in Japan will you find a diamond-encrusted toilet that totals up to well over $100,000.
This luxury toilet is made of more than 72,000 Swarovski crystals and was manufactured by INAX. Obviously, it’s not in the hands of some random citizen, but sitting in a showroom in the Ginza shopping district. Shoppers and visitors are all stunned by the toilet and the attention is being used to counter the economic downturn.
I don’t know about you but I would feel pretty awkward doing my business on a $100,000 toilet.
