T-Max has revealed that they will be disbanding as a group.
T-Max debuted in 2007 with their single album, ‘Blooming’. After Kim Joon participated in the KBS drama, ‘Boys Over Flowers’, and releasing their trademark OST track, ‘Paradise’ for the drama, they became a hit.
Planet 905 Entertainment, revealed that the members agreed to a disbandment at the end of 2011 to pursue solo careers. Minchul and Chanyang will continue their path as singers, while Kim Joon, Yunhwa, and Park Hanbi concentrate on their acting careers.
Early last year, Yunhwa enlisted in the army and Kim Joon enlisted shortly after, leaving Minchul and Chanyang as the only members to promote the group.
Many fans were upset with the news and promised that they will continue to support them through their individual paths.
CEO Yoon Jung Soo stated, “They’re a group like real brothers to me and I truly did all I could for them so I wanted to take in whatever decision they chose. I told them that they could return as T-Max whenever they wanted to.”
Here’s some of T-Max’s well known songs:
