IU, who is known as Korea’s little sister, will be making her Japanese debut in the first half of this year and other idols have pegged her to be the top rising star of 2012.

Idols such as Wonder Girls, T-ara, Secret, and B1A4 all agreed that IU would do the best this year, adding high expectations on the young singer.

Ji Eun of Secret remarked, “I think she will become the “nation’s little sister” in Japan as well.” Brown Eyed Girls‘ Narsha added, “She has a face that the Japanese will love too and she’ll do well in Japan.” Jiyeon from T-ara also chimed in, “I just hope everything goes smoothly. Hwaiting!” (Jiyeon and IU are known to be close.)

With that said, let’s hope that IU’s Japan debut goes smoothly. And yes, I’m looking forward to her other releases!
