The Hallyu wave has been taking over Asia but now, Hallyu’s top three girl groups, the Wonder Girls, Girls’ Generation, and 2NE1 are all set to make a break through in the birthplace of pop, United States!

First off, theres the Wonder Girls. These five talented ladies are set to release their single “The DJ is Mine” on January 11th plus they are in a Teen Nick TV movie, ‘THE WONDER GIRLS‘ which is set to hit the small screens on February 3rd. They are also going to drop a new full length album along with the release of their movie.

As for the nine member group Girls’ Generation, they have made headlines and cover pages in the U.S through their performances in SM TOWN New York and now they are going to be releasing ‘The Boys‘ special album on the 17th.

Continuing on with 2NE1, not only were they crowned as the Best New Band In The World 2011 at the MTV Iggy awards, these girls are having their new album produced by the one and only Will.I.Am. The producer recently tweeted, “This @2ne1 is coming out crazy…#willpower“ causing anticipation amongst many Blackjacks.

These girls will finally be making their official debut into the biggest and most powerful music market in the world, and their efforts are going to spread the Hallyu wave like wildfire across the globe, turning K-Pop into something bigger than it already is.
